Promotional opportunities with TD Halifax Jazz Festival

We have always been a community festival, but now we are getting even better (or maybe reverting back to the good old days?) at working with the people of like mind in our awesome city. To take part in our grand silver year, here are some ways that we have set up already: advertise in the program guide, become a partnered stage, donate to be a Patron of the Arts concert sponsor, become a retail supporter with benefits, and many, any other ways we can agree to help each other promote.

And JazzFest Moves Again! The attraction of Salter Block

As you probably already know, the Salter Block, i.e. the parking lot across from the original Farmer's Market, is off the development slab and back to being open for use. With this news, the Waterfront Development Corporation Ltd. and JazzEast agreed that the festival and the waterfront would have much more fun (especially with 42% more space!!) on the Salter Block. Walk by it! It's grand and beautiful.

Jobs for returning students coming up!

JazzEast will be looking for students who are returning to school in the fall to work in office on the festival. Specifically, we will be hiring a Marketing Assistant and a Sales Assistant. If you are or know of a person who might like these positions, then send me her/his name!

Website is launched. Hallelujah.

She's live and she is beautiful. Please, take a look! halifaxjazzfestival.ca
