Dinuk Wijeratne

Dinuk is the resident conductor of Symphony Nova Scotia, and Music Director of the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra. He is also equally active as a composer and as an improvisor, performing original works on the piano with a variety of artists. Dinuk studied compostion at the RNCM in England; later with John Corigliano at the Juilliard School; and finally conducting with David Hayes at the Mannes School.
